Welcome back to Brand ID Weekly!

This week, were looking at Shield AI’s shiny new brand from the team at TinyWins.

Shield AI is an aerospace and defense company building AI powered drones and fighter pilots and technology for defense operations. Their drones have been used in combat by U.S. Special Operations Command.

The goal for was a more sophisticated brand architecture to attract investors and support their expansion into new markets and applications.

I think we can say mission accomplished.

Let’s get started…

I don’t know if it’s intentional, but the logo feels like a nod to their own tech; a tight formation that looks like a swarm of autonomous drones advancing on a target. It’s abstract but clearly illustrates complete coordination.

The sub-brands are simple yet strong, and cohesive.

As a Navy SEAL, Shield AI co-founder Brandon Tseng experienced firsthand problems where intelligent autonomy could have made life-saving differences. He asked himself, "What does the military of 2030 look like, and what role does autonomy play?" The answer: AI pilots powering every military asset: aircraft, drones, ships, satellites, and submarines.

Thanks so much for reading! see you next week.
