Welcome Back to Brand ID Weekly!
This week we’re diving into Houert, a full-service architecture company from East Falmouth with a philosophy rooted in elegance, functionality, and meaning. Designed by Allan Andrade a talented brand designer from Brazil.
The name comes from Afrikaans, where “Houert” means container. Not the cold, industrial kind, but a metaphorical one. Each space is seen as a vessel for memories, stories, and experiences. It’s a powerful framing: your home isn’t just where you live, it’s where life collects.
Pull up a chair, let’s get comfortable…

The layout leans on clarity. White space creates room to breathe, just like good architecture leaves room for life to unfold. The design doesn’t fill every inch. I’m a ‘less is more’ kinda person, and this brand definitely does that.

The container shape is beautiful as well as flexible. It works practically everywhere and really pulls it together.

Houert is a good reminder that design is never just about looks. Every choice, from the container idea to the clean typography, connects back to meaning. Spaces become more than structures and the brand becomes more than a logo. Nice work @oandradek
